Topic - Life After

I have had my chess board of life flipped out of my hands and witnessed the pieces shatter and scatter over and over. These moments range from being raised in a broken home, the death of our first son, a mysterious illness in our toddler, a brain cancer diagnosis for our third child, infidelity in marriage and now navigating life with a special needs son. Through these life changing and defining moments I have learned what is important, which pieces to pick back up and how to become resilient in it all. Becoming resilient doesn’t happen because things didn’t work out, it happens with intention, tools and practice. It would be an honor to share with you what I have learned and how I can help you navigate a life filled with hope, gratitude and purpose after your board has been flipped.

Topic - Faith with Broken Bits

In my life’s tragedies and triumphs I have had a front row seat to how God is at work in all of it.  In this talk I share how the darkest parts of my life have brought me the most faith, the most clarity and the most joy. I share why I welcome heartbreak and why letting go of outcome can be your biggest transformation yet. Each broken bit within me allows the light to shine brighter and stronger, knowing that this epic life is just that, epic. It is precious, fragile and one worth caring for.

I have spoken at health care conferences, in the workplace, churches, rotary clubs, community organizations and in the non-profit sector.
